The Coventry Machinists’ Company was Britain’s first large cycle manufacturer, and they maintained a prestigious position within the cycle industry in the subsequent decades. The CMC Swift Crossframe safety was a well-built upmarket machine that was popular with the public, both in Britain and in the overseas markets. This one has rust and pitting over the frame, but the frame is solid and it is rideable. All its components are original. This is a good opportunity to obtain a rare bicycle, and a model that does not come onto the market very often.
