This 112-year-old Raleigh retains its original paintwork though it has lost most of its transfers (decals). It has an interesting feature – concealed roller lever brakes but also a Model FN Tricoaster (3 speed gear with coaster brake), which was an optional extra for 7/- 6d. This makes one of the brake levers redundant, so the lever has been removed from the left side of the handlebar.
I’ve ridden the Raleigh. It’s an interesting survivor with a personality of its own, and it’s ready to ride.
