This is a rare and interesting accessory for a c1930 bicycle, particularly a Selbach as that company advertised them at the time.
The fact that curved pedal cranks did not minimise what was known as the ‘dead centre effect’ makes them even more interesting to vintage bicycle collectors nowadays than if they had solved an issue at the time and had been made in larger quantities as a result.
